Fish Poaching at Doncaster Lakeside
There are a lot of Koi Carp in the Lake and they draw in a lot of visitors. Nobody can tell you for definite where the fish appeared from with various apocryphal myths about escapees from visiting fairgrounds to eggs being brought on the feet of coots circulating - perhaps we'll never know. What we do know is that fish poaching occurs in spite of the signage prohibiting fishing. The fish are popular and the locals can get very stressed when it is spotted. If you are thinking of bringing a rod, please don't is the message of this short video which features some of the star exhibits - hey poacher leave them fish alone!
